What is "Hard" Water?
Before flowing through your home or business faucets, potable water travels through routes that expose it to minerals such as iron, calcium (hardness), and manganese, which dissolve into the water. The higher the concentration of dissolved minerals, the "harder" the water becomes, as it is no longer completely "soft."
